We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.
Lakeville North vs. Prior Lake, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22. No. 1-4A Prior Lake (12-1, 6-0) survived an overtime scare against Eastview last week and now faces No. 6-4A Lakeville North (11-3, 6-0) in a South Suburban Conference matchup for the first time this season.
Ada-Borup vs. Mahnomen/Waubun, 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24. Ada-Borup (10-0, 4-0) can strengthen its hold at the top of the Pine to Prairie Conference standings with a win against Mahnomen/Waubun (7-4, 3-1).
Chanhassen vs. Chaska, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22. No. 10-4A Chaska (9-4, 3-0) has dominated next-door neighbor Chanhassen (9-6, 2-1), with seven consecutive victories in this series. But you’re never sure what will happen when close rivals meet, and the Storm's last victory in this series (67-65 on Feb. 7, 2015) came on the Hawks' court.
