Lynn Peterson, who was placed on administrative leave by Staples-Motley High School earlier in the year, has been offered the Rothsay High athletic director position.

Rothsay School Board vice president Kevin Brenden said the district is waiting on Peterson to accept the offer.

Peterson had been Staples-Motley’s dean of students, athletic director and head basketball coach until he was placed on administrative leave in February.
