Delano and Columbia Heights both earned three Class 3A all-tournament team selections as the two programs made improbable runs in pursuit of their first state title.

The unseeded Tigers overcame a sluggish first half to defeat the No. 4 Hylanders 65-61 for their first state crown.

Delano forward Keegan O'Neill scored 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the state championship. He's joined by Calvin Wishart (who averaged a tournament-best 27.7 points and 13.3 rebounds per game) and Derek Techam as the Tigers' all-tournament team honorees.

Wendell Matthews posted a team-leading 21 points and 11 rebounds for Columbia Heights in the title game, while fellow award recipients Quentin Hardrict and Deaundra Roberson both reached double figures.

Hardrict had a tournament-high 22 assists and secured the Hylanders' 71-69 upset over defending champion DeLaSalle in the semifinals, stealing the ball with 5 seconds left in the game.
