Cody Landwehr, Sauk Rapids-Rice: Landwehr scored 28 points for the No. 10-3A Storm (10-5, 4-4) in a 71-68 victory against St. Cloud Tech on Jan. 19. He also had 19 points against No. 14-3A Delano in a 72-54 victory three days earlier.
Mitchell Plombon, St. Cloud Cathedral: Plombon scored a game-high 24 points for St. Cloud Cathedral in a 63-56 overtime victory against Albany on Jan. 16. Plombon also pulled down 13 rebounds for the Crusaders (11-2, 5-0), who are ranked No. 5 in Class 2A by Minnesota Basketball News.
Jalen Justice, Robbinsdale Cooper: Justice had a team-high 25 points for the Hawks (5-4, 1-1) in a 93-77 win over Metro West Conference rival Bloomington Jefferson on Jan. 16.
Matt Todd, Monticello: Todd recorded his eighth game with 30 or more points this season, dropping 35 on St. Cloud Apollo in a 78-59 victory on Jan. 16. He made 12 of 14 attempts from the field and knocked down 11 of 11 from the free-throw line.
Nick Bieniek, Annandale: Bieniek had big bounce-back game in an 85-55 rout of Glencoe-Silver Lake on Jan. 19. He ended the night with 29 points, just three days after the leading scorer for No. 9-2A Cardinals (10-2, 4-0) posted 10 points in a 58-37 win against Litchfield.
Cal Wright, Mora: Wright put together a monster game against Milaca in a 70-55 win on Jan. 16. Wright scored 31 points on 14-of-23 shooting from the field. He knocked down two three-pointers and grabbed eight rebounds.
Emmanuel Jones, Prairie Seeds Academy: Jones showed his scoring touch with 27 points against The International School of Minnesota in a 99-76 victory on Jan. 16. Three days later, he capped the week with an even higher scoring output -- finishing with 40 points in a 106-75 win against St. Paul Preparatory.
Deszi Sims, Minneapolis Roosevelt: Sims’ four-game week started off in style when he delivered 39 points for the Teddies (9-6, 2-2) against Simley in an 80-49 victory on Jan. 15. A day later, he was even better with a 41-point effort on 15-of-19 shooting against Cambridge-Isanti in an 83-67 win. He ended the week with a 16-point game against rival Minneapolis North in a 75-59 loss and had 19 points in a 70-45 triumph against St. Anthony.
Ean Thomsen, Nicollet: Thomsen and the Raiders (10-5, 6-0) got rolling again with an 87-41 blowout of Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial on Jan. 16. Thomsen had 30 points on 11-of-18 shooting, which included three three-pointers, to give Nicollet back-to-back wins.
