After a brief cooling-off period, Ibrahim Abukar was deluged by television cameras and microphones Wednesday evening at Williams Arena.

Apollo had just lost to Orono 67-62 in overtime in the state Class 3A boys basketball quarterfinals. And Abukar, less than 28 hours after having bone marrow removed from his spine to give to his sister, actually played Wednesday and played well.
