During halftime of Monday’s Worthington-Ellsworth game, the two teams took “Two Minutes for Zach” in honor of Perham guard Zach Gabbard.

Gabbard, a junior on the Yellowjackets, collapsed during a game on Jan. 20. After receiving medical treatment in the gym, he was rushed to a Fargo, N. D., hospital. He is continuing his recovery at the University of Minnesota according to his CaringBridge site.

With players circulating in the stands, the large crowd assembled at the Worthington High School gymnasium collected more than $1,500.
