Triton guard scores 60 points in game

Total is seventh highest for single game in Minnesota

Triton's Logan Spitzack entered the Minnesota State High School league record books Tuesday night.

The 6-foot-1 senior guard scored 60 points — seventh-highest total in state history — as Cannon Falls beat Triton 88-76 in overtime in a Hiawatha Valley League game.

Spitzack was 24-of-47 from the field and 10-of-14 from the free-throw line.
