Zach Gabbard, the Perham junior who collapsed on the court Jan. 20 during a game in Glyndon, is awake and able to move his limbs.

His parents have been keeping friends and family updated on Gabbard’s condition through the CaringBridge website.

In the entry dated 8:27 p.m. Monday, Gabbard’s parents said he was responding but hated the breathing tube still in his throat.
