The Royals finally got their first victory over Elk River and it came in dramatic fashion Satkurday, Dec. 18,  thanks largely to Michael Schreiber.

Schreiber, their 6-foot-9 junior center, gave the Royals a 59-57 when he lobbed in hook shot at the buzzer — giving him 20 points and 11 rebounds for the game.

Rogers had been 0-for-7 against Elk River in the annual River Battle.
