Can anyone give defending Class 4A champion Apple Valley and Tyus Jones a run this winter? So far — at least against Minnesota competition — the answer has been a resounding no. But if someone is going to step up and challenge the Eagles, it could be the winner of Tuesday night’s game between Hopkins and Osseo.
The Royals, no stranger to a dynastic run, are the No. 2 ranked team in Class 4A and visit No. 3 Osseo, which is short-handed due to injury but remains dangerous. That’s enough juice to make it our top game of the week of Feb. 10-16, 2014.
