Half of Championship Saturday is set for the boys basketball state tournament

Reigning champion Wayzata and Minnetonka will battle for the Class 4A championship, and two-time defending champion Totino-Grace faces Mankato East in the 3A title game. The Class 1A semifinals are also set. Tap here for game stories and notes from Thursday's action.

Day 2 didn't have the same excitement as Day 1, but there were plenty of great games — such as the Class 3A matchup of rivals Totino-Grace and DeLaSalle. Was Eagan able to continue wearing the glass slipper after Wednesday's upset? Don't overlook the Class 1A quarterfinals. It's where you can find future Gopher, a big man with an engine won't quit and a first-time state entrant that's also a legit title contender. 

Ron Haggstrom, Jim Paulsen and Heather Rule are covering today's games at Williams Arena and Target Center.
