Standout Woodard injures arm during prep tournament

Johnny Woodard’s good luck ran out in Las Vegas.

The Duluth East basketball guard, a senior this fall, reinjured his left shoulder two weeks ago in the Las Vegas Fab 48 tournament for top-level prep players.

Woodard put out his arm to break a fall to the court and injured a shoulder that was dislocated in May during an Amateur Athletic Union tournament in Milwaukee, East assistant coach Will Starks said Saturday.
