And the winner is... MN Boys' Basketball Hub Top Performer revealed

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer winner

Jeremy Beckler, White Bear Lake. Scoring and rebounding from the senior gave the Bears a huge boost in their three wins last week. Beckler scored 36 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a 77-75 win over No. 3-3A Mahtomedi on Dec. 20. He scored 15 points in a win over St. Francis two days later.

Top performer candidates

Deszi Sims, Minneapolis Roosevelt. Sims' 25 points, 11 rebounds and five steals led Minneapolis Roosevelt to a tight 65-63 win over Brooklyn Center on Dec. 18. The guard helped spark another victory by scoring 16 points in a Dec. 20 win over Minneapolis Southwest.

Riley Hulke, Nicollet. Nicollet's point guard put on a dynamic performance versus Sleepy Eye on Dec. 17. In the 81-73 win, Hulke recorded 33 points, four rebounds, seven assists and five steals. Three days later, he shot 50 percent from the floor and scored 22 points in a win over Cleveland.

Jacob Donnett, Kaleidoscope Charter. Donnett led his team with two big stat lines last week. His 34 points, 15 rebounds, five steals and six blocks led the Comets to a 79-66 win over Lincoln International on Dec. 19. Against Hmong Academy the next day, he scored 28 points, grabbed 15 boards and recorded six blocks.

Mitch Hoistad, Maple Lake. After Maple Lake's loss at the end of the previous week, Hoistad helped the Irish achieve a 2-0 record last week. He scored 26 points in a 59-32 win at Dassel-Cokato on Dec. 18, and two days later he recorded 29 points in Maple Lake's 55-41 victory over Pierz.
