Top performer winner

Henry Abraham, Cambridge-Isanti. Big scoring nights from Abraham catapulted Cambridge-Isanti to its first two wins of the season. The junior guard scored 39 points, grabbed 10 boards and dished five assists in the Bluejackets' 97-63 win over Coon Rapids on Dec. 11. He scored 26 points and added four assists in an 88-78 win over Brainerd three days later.

Top performer candidates

Caleb Hoilien, Hope Academy. In one of Hoilien's two 30-point performances last week, he was able to lead his squad to its second win of the season. Hope Academy's guard was threatening from deep — making nearly a dozen 3-pointers between the two games last week. He tallied 33 points in a 62-64 loss to Legacy Christian on Dec. 10, then reached 31 points and 11 rebounds the next night to beat Cleveland 72-61.

Antwan Kimmons, Tartan. Kimmons led the Titans to two wins last week, including a 22-point, 12-rebound and four-assist performance in a 68-46 win at Elk River on Dec. 11. Two days later, the guard scored 21 points at Andover in a 62-46 victory.

Carter Hansen, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton. Hansen, a senior guard, recorded 19 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 67-32 win over Canby on Dec. 11. He then scored 18 points, grabbed eight rebounds and managed four steals in his squad's next win over Yellow Medicine East two days later.

Cole Nicholson, Chaska. Nicholson led Chaska to three wins in three games last week — pushing the Hawks' record to 4-2. The 6-foot-6 senior forward scored 26 points in back-to-back games versus St. Paul Como Park (an 80-43 win) on Dec. 11 and Lakeville North (a 67-62 win) on Dec. 13.
