All-metro first team

All-Metro first-team members sound off on….

After whom do you pattern your game? One food you cannot resist? Memory of your first great basketball play?
Tre Jones Tyus Jones Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul Chicken Alfredo Making a half-court shot to go into overtime in sixth grade.
Gabe Kalscheur Klay Thompson, C.J. McCollum Wings with ranch This year versus Orono, when I hit four threes to bring us back from 12 down with four minutes left. It was a crazy and unforgettable game.
Jarvis Thomas Omersa No one really. I just use what I’ve learned over the years. Chinese food When I got a steal in the section semifinal game against Minneapolis Henry to put us up four after a 15-point comeback.
Daniel Oturu I don’t really look at one person. I take bits from all the great players at each level. Chinese food When I dunked on this player from Minnetonka, and I got a technical because I was so turned up.
Jalen Suggs Russell Westbrook and LeBron James. Their aggressiveness and ways they can do it all are what impress me the most. Huge fan of seafood I was in first or second grade. We were playing against Lakeville South. We were down two points and had the ball at halfcourt. I got the ball inbounded to me with three seconds to go at the volleyball line and let it go. Ended up going in and we got the win.
