Players are considered for the Top Performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If any coaches or members of their coaching staff would like to be set up to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Fans' choice for Top Performer

Hunter Bzoskie, Kasson-Mantorville: Bzoskie scored 40 points in a 71-60 triumph over Kenyon-Wanamingo on Jan. 26. Bzoskie hit seven three-pointers and finished 15-of-20 from the field.

Top Performer candidates

Courtney Brown, East Ridge: Brown set a school record for points scored in a game with 39 in a 100-59 win over White Bear Lake on Jan. 23. The 100-point mark also set a school record for most in a game for East Ridge (12-4, 6-2), which is ranked No. 14 in Class 4A by Minnesota Basketball News.

Seth Royston, LeRoy-Ostrander: Royston hit eight three-pointers and finished with 37 points for the Cardinals (13-4, 5-2) in a 76-51 win over Kenyon-Wanamingo on Jan. 23.  

Michael Schaefer, St. Cloud Cathedral: Schaefer had 34 points and 14 rebounds for No 4-2A St. Cloud Cathedral (13-2, 7-0) against Becker in a 93-66 win on Jan. 26. He scored 25 points and had 20 rebounds in an 82-48 victory over Little Falls a day earlier.

Cody Landwehr, Sauk Rapids-Rice: Landwehr had 31 points and 10 rebounds in a 73-70 overtime loss to Brainerd. Landwehr followed that performance with an 18-point, 12-rebound game against Little Falls in a 58-53 victory.

Michael Jones, Woodbury: Jones had back-to-back 30-point games. He scored 30 in a 78-67 loss to No. 4-4A Eden Prairie on Jan. 23 and had 33 in an 87-70 victory at Stillwater three days later.

Tre Jones, Apple Valley: Jones produced a triple-double in a 76-69 win over Lakeville South on Jan. 23. He had 24 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists. He came up one assist shy of accomplishing the feat again in a 79-61 victory over Farmington on Jan. 26, finishing with 14 points and had 13 rebounds.

Gavin Vosika, BOLD: Vosika played a complete game against Sauk Centre in an 80-61 win on Jan. 23, posting a quadruple-double with 14 points, 12 rebounds, 13 assists and 10 steals for BOLD (14-4, 7-2).

Nate Seelye, Grand Rapids: Seelye set a career-high with 45 points in a 78-64 victory over Hermantown on Jan. 23. He hit three three-pointers in the game en route to topping his previous career high of 39 points.

Cal Wright, Mora: Wright led Mora with 29 points in a 59-43 loss to Albany on Jan. 25, capping a week for the senior that included 32 points against Maple Lake in a 62-55 loss and 29 points against Milaca in a 75-64 loss.
