CLASS 3A, SECTION 4

• HILL-MURRAY 91, SOUTH ST. PAUL 53: Hill-Murray coach Dick Ghizoni earned his 400th career win as his Pioneers got off to a strong start in the Section 4 quarterfinals. It was the 14th consecutive win for the Pioneers, who will play St. Thomas Academy on Tuesday. Senior forwards Rob Daul (24 points) and Jim Remke (21) led the Hill-Murray scoring attack. Senior guard Sam Doody had 14 points for the Packers.

• ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 69, ST. PAUL HARDING 55: Thomas Sjoberg’s 24 points paced three Cadets in double figures as St. Thomas Academy pulled away in the second half to defeat the Knights. Paul Kempainen chipped in with 12 points and Jordan Kruger 10 for St. Thomas Academy.

• ST. PAUL HIGHLAND PARK 75, MAHTOMEDI 70 (OT): Sophomore guard Dion Bradley’s 23 points and six assists led St. Paul Highland Park. Junior guard Andrew Lindquist had 20 points for Mahtomedi.

CLASS 4A, SECTION 4

• ROSEVILLE 91, EAST RIDGE 81: Senior guard David Stanley led all scorers with 27 points for Roseville, including the 1,000th of his career, and also added five assists and five rebounds, as the Raiders held off East Ridge. Roseville’s Lucas Brown was dominant inside, adding 26 points – 10 of those from dunks. Raptors junior guard Justin Pahl led his team with 25 points.

• CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 61, NORTH ST. PAUL 43: The Raiders wasted little time in putting the Polars away, racing out to a 30-13 halftime lead. Cortez Tillman scored 16 points and Taylor Montero added 14 for Cretin-Derham Hall.

• STILLWATER 53, WHITE BEAR LAKE 43: And the rubber game goes to the Ponies. Stillwater, behind 18 points form Sam Lagus and 12 from Paxton Harvieux, dumped Suburban East Conference rival White Bear Lake in the third — and most important — meeting of the season between the teams. They split two previous games, with White Bear Lake winning by five points in December and Stillwater winning by the same margin in early February.
