Fourteen players in this year's field have received offers or committed to play at the highest collegiate level.

DeLaSalle's Gabe Kalscheur and Maple Grove's Brad Davison dive for a loose ball.

The Class 4A tournament is loaded with Division I talent. Champlin Park comes in as the top seed led by Dayton recruit and newly crowned Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year McKinley Wright and Marquette recruit Theo John. They face Chaska and Columbia recruit Myles Hanson in the opening round.

Gopher commit Daniel Oturu and Cretin-Derham Hall open the tournament against No. 3 seed Apple Valley and Eagles' star Tre Jones, who has eight offers from some of the country's top programs (Duke, Arizona, Baylor, UCLA). Oturu and Jones are two of the top juniors in the state and figure to be favorites for next year's Mr. Basketball award.

Wisconsin has two signees in the tournament in Brad Davison (Maple Grove) and Nathan Reuvers (Lakeville North). The pair are members of the Star Tribune's All-Metro first team and are among the five finalists for the 2017 Mr. Basketball award. Maple Grove also features uncommitted seniors Tywhon Pickford (seven offers) and Jack Hutchison (two offers).

Goanar Mar is another All-Metro first team selection and the George Mason recruit leads top-seeded DeLaSalle into the Class 3A tournament. Mar is joined by junior Gabe Kalscheur, who has four Division I offers, including one from Richard Pitino and the Gophers.

Minnehaha Academy freshman sensation Jalen Suggs is considered the best point guard in the nation in the 2020 class and his nine Division I offers back that. Suggs teams with junior big man JaVonni Bickham, who holds offers from Denver, Memphis and New Mexico.

Isaac Johnson of Minneapolis North is the lone Division I player in the Class 1A field. The senior signed with Western Illinois.
