Chase Thompson learned at a young age how to excel on the big stage. By the age of 10, he had already performed in front of thousands of people across the country.
For three years, Thompson was a member of the Alexandria Aces — fourth through sixth grade — before the group stopped entertaining basketball fans in 2019. The ballhandling performance team was one of the nation’s top halftime acts at NBA, college and high school games for 50 years.
That experience was pivotal in helping the 6-8, 220-pound senior forward from Alexandria develop into the 2025 Star Tribune All-Minnesota Player of the Year in boys basketball.
