And the winner is...MN Boys' Basketball Hub Top Performer revealed

Top performer winner

KhiJohnn Cummings-Coleman, Coon Rapids. Cummings-Coleman scored in double figures in every game this season, but he had his best outing in a 101-84 victory over Chisago Lakes on Dec. 30, when he score 43. The 6-foot-1 junior added seven rebounds on the night. 

Top performer candidates

Asher ZubichMountain Iron-Buhl. The 6-foot-1 senior guard posted a season-high 46 points and five assists in the Rangers' victory over Nevis in the Granite City Classic on Dec. 30. He leads his team with 212 points through five games.

Henry Erickson, Windom. The Eagles point guard tallied 11 assists in back-to-back games at the CVB Holiday Classic, including in a 92-78 victory over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton. The 6-foot-1 senior also had 27 points, six steals and five rebounds in the win.

Erick Reader, New Life Academy. Reader is a big reason why the Eagles enter this week with an 8-0 record. The 6-foot-8 senior forward is averaging a double-double (points and rebounds) this season and added to his totals this week with a 12-point, 14-rebound performance to lift No. 4-1A New Life past No. 1-1A Cherry on Dec. 30. 

Jayden Moore, Hopkins. The Royals freshman has eclipsed the 30-point mark three times in 10 games, including twice in his last three games (all at the TCO Holiday Classic). He had 31 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists in an 83-55 victory over Cambridge-Isanti on Dec. 28 and recorded a career-high 34 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds to lead No. 5-4A Hopkins past Osseo 83-69 two days later. In the finale against Andover, Moore finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and a game-high 16 assists to help the Royals to an 82-69 victory. 

Justin Courneya, Win-E-Mac. The state's leading scorer this season padded his lead with 52 total points last week, including scoring 30 to help Win-E-Mac rout Hill City 90-43 on Dec. 28. The 6-foot-1 junior ended last week with 285 points this season.

Max Shikenjanski, Stillwater. A prolific passer for the Ponies football team, Shikenjanski showed his ability on the hardwood as the 6-foot-3 senior guard had a 37-point night to help Stillwater edge St. Cloud Tech 64-60 at the Granite City Classic on Dec. 29.
