• LAKEVILLE NORTH 63, CHAMPLIN PARK 50: Senior Brett Rasmussen scored 25 points to lead the Class 4A, No. 8 Panthers past the Rebels at the Breakdown Tip-off Classic at Minnetonka. Even without injured Tyler Flack and Devin Shockley, the Panthers flexed their depth, mustering enough offense behind Rasmussen and fellow senior Ryan Saarela, who added 18 points. Lakeville North went 18-for-19 from the free-throw line in the second half. Anthony Hill scored a team-high 18 points for Champlin Park.

• BRAHAM 85, ORONO 75: Four Bombers scored in double figures to beat the defending Class 3A state champion Spartans. Tyler Vaughan led Class 2A, No. 6 Braham with 28 points, including four three-pointers that left him two away from tying the state career record held by Orono's Jordan Smith. Anthony Bias, Sam Stigen and Cameron Braund scored 14 points each for Braham. Brady Wohler scored a team-high 25 points for the Spartans.

• OSSEO 70, PRIOR LAKE 67 (OT): Trailing 49-40 with six minutes remaining, the Orioles rallied behind the lead of guard D.J. Herbert. The senior connected on two three-pointers and a pair of free throws to draw Osseo to within 49-48. The Lakers forced overtime late in the game on sophomore guard Jon Sobaski's basket. Herbert's free throws late in overtime iced the victory. Herbert finished with a team-high 22 points, and teammate Bridge Tusler scored 21 points. Sobaski led the Lakers with 19 points.

• PERHAM 62, ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 54: The Class 2A, No. 2 Yellowjackets frustrated the St. Thomas Academy offense, and the Cadets trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half. The Cadets, ranked No. 5 in Class 3A, had no answer for Perham 6-7 center Mark Schumacher, who finished with a game-high 20 points. St. Thomas Academy was led by Thomas Sjoberg and Mitch Newburg with 11 points each.

• EDEN PRAIRIE 74, DULUTH EAST 65: Eden Prairie took advantage of a depleted Greyhounds squad, pulling away in the second half following a 36-36 tie at halftime. Senior guard Sander Mohn paced the Eagles with 23 points while senior center Jordan Peterson scored 14 points. Duluth East was led by senior Taylor Stafford's 30 points. Stafford has shouldered the scoring load while starters Johnny Woodard (shoulder injury) and Quinton Coleman sat out.

• ROSEVILLE 77, ROCORI 52: Roseville junior guard Mackenzie Johnson was in midseason form, scoring 29 points behind a frenzied offensive attack. Rocori, only two weeks removed from winning the Class 4A state football title, was at a noticeable disadvantage with a week less of basketball practice.

• EASTVIEW 61, BENILDE-ST. MARGARET'S 54: Darin Haugh (22) and Joey King (19) combined for 41 points as the Class 4A, No. 2 Lightning outlasted the Class 3A, No. 1 Red Knights. Isaiah Zierden paced Benilde-St. Margaret's with 20 points.
