Good shooter and outstanding passer, averaging a double-double (17.5 points and 10 rebounds). 

Kendall Blue
East Ridge, 6-6, sr., guard
College: St. Thomas
Versatile guard who poses matchup problems. Does whatever it takes to win. 

Taison Chatman
Totino-Grace, 6-4, jr., guard
College: Undecided
Averages 14.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game for state’s most talented team. 

Daniel Freitag
Bloomington Jefferson, 6-3, soph., guard
College: Undecided
The best player in the Class of 2024 averaged nearly 27 points per game. 

Pharrel Payne
Park of Cottage Grove, 6-9, sr., center
College: Gophers
Put nagging hip injury behind him to finish season strong.

How the team was chosen

The Star Tribune’s all-metro teams and Metro Player of the Year were chosen based on nominations from metro-area coaches, conversations with a panel of coaches and staff observations.
