See who fans voted as the Top Performer from Feb.21-27.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Maxwell Woods, Chanhassen: Woods scored a team-high 38 points to beat Orono 105-85 Feb. 23. The performance led Chanhassen to its fourth win of an eventual five-game winning streak.

Top performer candidates

Daxter Lee, New Richland-Heartland-Ellendale-Geneva: Lee dropped 40 points in a 78-42 win over Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Feb. 21. It was Lee’s first time scoring more than 21 points in a single game this season.

Quyavant Douglas, Brooklyn Center: The junior finished with 31 points to beat West Lutheran 83-75. It was Douglas’ sixth game of the season with more than 30 points.

Daniel Freitag, Bloomington Jefferson: Freitag scored more than half of Bloomington Jefferson’s points Feb. 25, dropping 37 points at New Prague in a 60-41 win. The performance tied a season-high for Freitag.

Devin Newsome, South St. Paul: The 6-2 senior recorded 30 points as South St. Paul beat St. Thomas Academy 84-77 Feb. 25. The performance moved South St. Paul to 24-0 and 14-0 in the Metro East Conference.
