TEN METRO PLAYERS TO WATCH

Siyani Chambers, Hopkins, 5-11 sr. guard: Pass-first lefty who uses his brain (committed to Harvard) as well as his skill.

Tyler Flack, Lakeville North, 6-7 sr. forward: Stock soared in the offseason thanks to a stellar AAU season. Injured wrist will temporarily keep him out.

Tyus Jones, Apple Valley, 6-foot so. guard: On the national radar since middle school. Selected to USA Basketball U16 squad.

Joey King, Eastview, 6-8 sr. forward: Drake recruit scored 17.8 points per game for South Suburban Conference champs.

Nate Kratch, Watertown-Mayer, 6-6 sr. forward: Impressive athletic bloodlines. Dad won a Super Bowl with the Giants; Mom was a high jumper at Iowa.

Sanjay Lumpkin, Benilde-St. Margaret's, 6-6 sr. forward: Northwestern recruit is long and lean and can score from inside or beyond the arc.

C.J. Neumann, Cretin-Derham Hall, 6-7 sr. forward: Has a knack for perimeter shooting that helped him average 13 points per game last year.

Zach Stahl, Hopkins, 6-6 sr. forward: Strong frame, attacks the rim hard. Scored 10 points and had eight boards in state championship last year.

Ian Theisen, Osseo, 6-9 so. center: Young but powerful. Especially effective near the basket.

Isaiah Zierden, Benilde-St. Margaret's, 6-2 sr. guard: Can compete at either guard spot. Good with the ball, but makes the shots with defenders on him.
