And the winner is... MN Boys' Basketball Hub Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the Top Performer March 1-6

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Basketball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer winner

Zach Jackson, Lester Prairie. Jackson averaged 22 points in three games last week. His highest total was on March 6 when he dropped 26 points in Lester Prairie's (14-3) 71-44 defeat of Le Sueur-Henderson.

Top performer candidates

Jack Courneya, Frazee. After producing 27 points in a 66-64 loss at Perham on March 2, the senior tallied 19 points, 13 assists and six steals helping Frazee (7-8) beat Hawley 89-70 on March 5.

Gabe Jobe, Edina. Jobe played a big role in Edina's (6-9) 74-51 triumph over Minnetonka on March 2. The near 20 points-per-night scorer tallied 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the contest.

Jackson Loge, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta. The No. 10-ranked team in Class 2A by Minnesota Basketball News from March 3 was led by Loge's 50-point game. He exploded for 51 points, 17 rebounds and four assists in Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta's (14-2) 93-79 victory at Benson on March 4.

Devin Newsome, South St. Paul. Newsome produced 28 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists guiding No. 4-3A South St. Paul (16-0) past No. 9-4A Tartan on March 6. Newsome is averaging 17.5 points per game this season.
