He also had 25 points, 14 rebounds and four steals in a 71-49 win over West Lutheran three days prior.

Top performer candidates

Hunter Hannuksela, Mesabi East. After falling short of a victory with a 35-point performance on Feb. 23, Hannuksela ensured a win for Mesabi East (2-9) in its next contest three days later. The senior recorded 24 points along with 12 rebounds, five assists and three steals in a 69-62 win over Chisholm.

Michael Jude, Kaleidoscope Charter. Jude was just short of achieving a triple-double versus Lakes International Language Academy on Feb. 25. He posted 12 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds in Kaleidoscope Charter's (8-3) 83-51 win.

Joshua Strong, Champlin Park. Strong continued giving Champlin Park (13-0), the No. 1-ranked team in Class 4A by Minnesota Basketball News from Feb. 24, good outings this season. His best display of the week was on Feb. 23 in a 74-47 triumph at Elk River when the senior recorded 30 points, seven steals, five rebounds and four assists.

Asher Zubich, Mountain Iron-Buhl. Mountain Iron-Buhl (5-7) hasn't had trouble scoring with Zubich dropping 29 or more points in each of his last four games. In a contest on Feb. 22 at Littlefork-Big Falls, the sophomore generated 34 points (7-of-10 shooting), six assists and five steals guiding his team to its 88-36 win.
