We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Other games to keep an eye on

Park Center vs. Totino-Grace, 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28. Park Center (10-4, 4-1) plays a tough schedule so the Pirates' 3-3 record in January, which includes losses to No. 1-3A Minnehaha Academy (68-89 on Jan. 3) and No. 1-4A Eden Prairie (64-82 on Jan. 25), is excusable. But the No. 7-4A Pirates would like to get back on track, and a victory over Northwest Suburban Conference West Division rival and No. 4-3A Totino-Grace (10-4, 4-1) would be a good starting point.

Prior Lake vs. Chaska, 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 30. No. 9-4A Chaska (13-3, 4-1) is 1-2 against ranked Class 4A teams, but might have the advantage at home against No. 10-4A Prior Lake (8-5, 5-2).
