Drew Sagedahl, BOLD. Sagedahl has helped his team to a perfect 7-0 start. This past week, the junior guard added a pair of double-doubles. On Dec. 27, Sagedahl finished with 32 points and 11 rebounds in a 90-70 win against Cass Lake-Bena. The next day, he put in 28 points to go along with 11 rebounds.
Henry Abraham, Cambridge-Isanti. Playing in two games in the two days following Christmas, Abraham took full advantage of his time on the floor. On Dec. 26, the senior guard knocked down nine three-pointers and finished with 41 points in a 107-64 win against Duluth Denfield. A day later, Abraham put up 29 points in an 83-77 win against Duluth East.
Matt Banovetz, Holy Angels. On Dec. 27, Banovetz pulled off a feat rare at nearly all levels of basketball — a 20-point, 20-rebound performance. The senior tallied 29 points and 20 rebounds in a 78-66 win over Benilde-St. Margaret's.
Corbin Froelich, Paynesville Area. After an eight-day layoff, Froelich returned with a vengeance. He scored 40 points in a 71-62 win over Watertown-Mayer on Dec. 27.
Tait Nelson, St. Anthony. Nelson, a senior guard, celebrated the holidays with a pair of 30-point performances this past week. On Dec. 27, he poured in 31 points in a win against St. Paul Harding. The next day, he upped the ante with 38 points in a 74-71 win against Anoka.
