Top games: 'No-win situation' for Cambridge-Isanti coach facing son's Duluth East team

We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.






Other games to keep an eye on

Caledonia vs. St. Charles, 7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20. No. 3-2A Caledonia (5-0, 2-0), coming off a victory over Class 2A, Section 1 rival and No. 2-2A Lake City, faces St. Charles (2-2, 1-0), the team that knocked it out of the section tournament last season.

Totino-Grace vs. Champlin Park, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17. The No. 4-3A Eagles (2-2, 0-0) face a big challenge in Champlin Park's (2-2, 0-0) Francis Nwaokorie (17 points and 13 rebounds per game).
