King’s greatest team success has come in football, where he is a 2019 Mr. Football finalist and quarterback of the past two Class 2A state champions. But he’s headed to South Dakota State to play basketball with his brother Owen, a sophomore this season with the Jackrabbits. King, who averaged 19 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists as a junior, helped Caledonia to the Class 2A state title game as a sophomore.
