Since losing twice at the Granite City Classic in St. Cloud after Christmas, Delano has reeled off six consecutive victories. That streak could reach eight by the time the No. 7-3A Tigers play Saturday, but pushing it to nine could be difficult.
Delano boasts one of the state's top scoring threats, senior guard Derek Techam (23.2 ppg). Sophomore guard Trey Longstreet (13.2 ppg) and junior forward Keagan Smith (11.4 ppg) provide support.
Undefeated Waseca is outscoring opponents by 29.3 points per game. The No. 3-3A Blue Jays (14-0, 4-0) are doing that with a talented trio: 6-8 sophomore Andrew Morgan (17.4 ppg), Kyreese Willingham (16.6 ppg) and Malik Willingham (17.2 ppg).
