Russell-Tyler-Ruthton at Dawson-Boyd

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton has put together an impressive season and will arguably be the No. 2 or No. 3 seed in Class 1A, Section 3 playoffs depending on the outcome of its regular-season finale against Dawson-Boyd.

The Knights (20-4, 11-0) had a 10-game winning streak snapped in a 68-64 loss to Pipestone Area last Friday. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's Westin Kirk has averaged 15 points and 8.1 rebounds a game this season and is second on his team with 60 assists.

Dawson-Boyd (12-8, 7-2) has hung tough with its competition this season, recording six losses by just single digits, including a five-point defeat to No. 3-1A Central Minnesota Christian on Jan. 16. Alex Swenson and Eli Weber each average 15.3 points per game and could be key in helping the Blackjacks score the upset.
