Orono at Big Lake
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21

Orono may be the target of a Big Lake team that remembers the Spartans, who denied the Hornets of a trip to this year's Class 4A state football tournament.

That motivation could be the extra kick Big Lake (15-7, 7-3) needs to snap a three-game skid entering a homestand this week. Austin Miller (16.2 ppg) and Tanner Teige (9.2 ppg) run the Hornets offense and will look to keep teammates involved against a diverse Orono lineup.

The No. 4-3A Spartans are playing some of their best basketball lately after defeating No. 9-4A New Prague 54-45 on Feb. 10 and No. 5-3A Marshall 57-45 the next day. Max Bjorklund (18.7 ppg) posted double figures in all games he's played for Orono (17-5, 5-2) this year.
