Annandale at Watertown-Mayer
7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 10

Watertown-Mayer dealt Annandale its first loss of the season in a 60-58 finish on Jan. 12, and the Cardinals aim to avenge that loss in a must-win game and assert themselves as the top seed in Class 2A, Section 5.

Pepperdine commit Trae Berhow (25.1 ppg) posted a game-high 26 points to lead the No. 10-2A Royals over the No. 11-2A Cardinals and into the Class 2A Top 10.

Annandale hasn’t been as dominant on defense as it was to start the season, but the Cardinals (15-3, 6-1) have found more offense behind Jarod Wilken’s 17.8 ppg.

Watertown-Mayer (16-2, 5-1) has won the past three meetings with Annandale by single digits, including a 60-59 overtime victory a year ago where Berhow scored 40 points.
