7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 6

Dayton commit McKinley Wright leads a group of five Rebels who average double figures. Wright posted three triple-doubles in January and has averaged 21.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game.

The other half of the state’s best inside-out duo, Marquette prospect Theo John, has posted an average 14.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and a state-best 5.4 blocks per game while playing limited minutes as Champlin Park has been able to pull its regulars in the second half often this season.

Brian Smith (13.5 ppg) is a lethal shooter outside and with Josiah Strong (10.9 ppg) and Marcus Hill (10.7 ppg) in the mix, the Rebels depth has been unmatched this year and will prove troublesome for the Crimson.

Wisconsin signee Brad Davison proved himself playing for Howard Pulley and committed before the season started. Davison has been a model of consistency and focus for the Crimson, averaging 25.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 4.8 steals per game.

Tywhon Pickford suffered a season-ending knee injury last season but has recovered and worked his way back into Maple Grove’s starting lineup. Pickford has posted 21.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game as the Crimson’s wing threat and his ability to create gives Maple Grove an extra facet to its game.
