Melrose at St. Cloud Cathedral
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17

Melrose snapped St. Cloud Cathedral's nine-game winning streak with a 72-59 win on Dec. 29, and the Crusaders look for some payback on Tuesday. Cathedral can end the Dutchmen’s unbeaten run and gain ground in the Class 2A, Section 6 seeding process with a win.

Dillon Haider leads No. 4-2A Melrose through its strong start and surpassed 1,000 career points after finishing with 20 in a 71-41 rout of Braham last Saturday.

He was also impressive in the earlier win over Cathedral, going 14-for-14 from the free-throw line -- where collective the Dutchmen (11-0, 4-0) went 23-for-25.

The No. 5-2A Crusaders saw their lowest scoring output of the season in a 58-55 loss to Little Falls last Friday. Six-foot-6 Michael Schaefer leads St. Cloud Cathedral (10-2, 2-1) with 23.5 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.
