Bloomington Jefferson at Chaska
7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18

The Metro West Conference was a three-team fight last season, and a league opener between Chaska and Bloomington Jefferson offers an early look at how the race may play out this season.

The Hawks won the league title last season with a 13-1 record, while the Jaguars ended two games back in third place.

Junior forward Myles Hanson leads Chaska (5-3) this season, averaging 19.6 ppg.

The Jaguars (4-3), who enter the game off a 10-day break since their 66-55 loss to Wayzata, are led by juniors Tyler Riemersma (15 ppg) and Joe Hird (13.6 ppg).
