7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 20

The Big 9 Conference is also primed to crown a champion in a wild finish as Rochester John Marshall and Red Wing enter the week tied atop the league standings and end the regular season facing each other.

Both teams must win their league contests on Feb. 17 to set up a showdown on Feb. 20 to decide the title, a game that features the conference's top offense and defense.

Rochester John Marshall (19-5, 17-3) averages 70.7 ppg thanks to the brother tandem of Michael and Matthew Hurt. Michael, a 6-foot-7 junior forward who has committed to Minnesota, leads the Rockets in scoring at 22 ppg, while eighth-grader Matthew, a 6-foot-8 forward, is second at 15.2 ppg.

No. 5-3A Red Wing (20-4, 17-3) allows just 49.9 points per game, and the Wingers showed off their staunch defense in a 56-45 victory over John Marshall on Jan. 13 as they kept the Hurts in check. Michael finished with 22 points and Matthew had nine.

Red Wing's offense spread the scoring around in the victory as junior guard Travis Toivonen had 17 points, senior forward Ty Buck added 12 and senior guard Ben Miller chipped in 11. Buck (17 ppg) and Toivonen (15.3 ppg) lead the Wingers in scoring.
