Maple Grove at Champlin Park
8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 20

This matchup features two top-10 ranked teams in Class 4A, and this one is bound to be high scoring.

No. 6 Maple Grove averages 74.2 points per game and won its last three games by 20 points or more, including an 88-51 victory at Coon Rapids on Jan. 16.

Continuing that run won't be easy against the No. 1 Rebels, who pack plenty of offensive fire power in their backcourt. Seniors J.T. Gibson (18.7 ppg) and Marty Hill (16.7 ppg) lead the way, while sophomore McKinley Wright (13.4 ppg) and senior Jeremy Johnson (12.3 ppg) aid in a Rebels' scoring attack that averages 85.9 ppg.

Crimson sophomore guards Brad Davison (14.4 ppg) and Tywhon Pickford (11.4 ppg) form a formidable backcourt, while junior center Reed Nikko (10.6 ppg) gives Maple Grove a presence down low.

This is Northwest Suburban Conference cross-division game. The Rebels (6-0) sit atop the North Division and the Crimson (6-0) lead the West Division.

Champlin Park defeated Maple Grove 64-61 last year.
