The six-game Midwest Players Classic showcases several teams from central and southern Minnesota and Wisconsin, including East Ridge and West Salem (Wis.). The teams square off in the second game of the event held at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse (Wis.).

The No. 8-4A Raptors (13-1) and the Panthers each have a standout senior guard putting up great stats.

East Ridge's Sid Tomes, an Air Force commit, averages 24.9 points per game, while West Salem's Billy Williams, who is headed to Minnesota State-Mankato, averages 24.8 ppg.

Other Minnesota teams and their opponents include No. 7-2A St. Croix Lutheran vs. La Crosse Aquinas (10:45 a.m.), No. 1-2A Caledonia vs. Waverly-Shell Rock (2:15 p.m.) and Rochester John Marshall vs. Rice Lake (4 p.m.).
