Champlin Park at Robbinsdale Armstrong
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 13

No. 1-4A Champlin Park has won 14 consecutive games, and coach Mark Tuschscherer's Rebels have accomplished this feat thanks to a potent offense.

The team is second in the state in points scored and averages 86.4 points per game, making it easy to see why Champlin Park has four players averaging double figures in points. Senior guard J.T. Gibson averages 18.5 ppg, while senior guard Marty Hill (16.5 ppg) and sophomore guard McKinley Wright (14.0 ppg) have helped the Rebels' backcourt carried the load. Senior forward Jeremy Johnson (11.6 ppg) is the leading frontcourt scorer.

No. 5-4A Robbinsdale Armstrong (11-1) doesn't average as many points per game as Champlin Park, but the Falcons can score. They average 74.0 points behind the play of senior forward Sean Burns, who leads the team in scoring at 16.2 ppg. Senior forward Evan Nolan (12.1 ppg) and senior guard Jerome Dixon (11.9 ppg) provide Armstrong with strong second and third scoring options.
