Maple Grove at Osseo
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6

This matchup has been one-sided recently. The Orioles have won 13 of the last 14 meetings, but the Crimson have jumped out to an excellent start and should be better prepared to secure a victory when they travel to Osseo on Jan. 6.

The No. 4-4A Crimson boast a 9-1 record, with their lone loss coming to then-ranked No. 1-4A Apple Valley (86-75) at the Granite City Classic in St. Cloud on Dec. 26.

Brad Davidson leads Maple Grove in scoring (15.9 ppg), assists (8.8 apg) and steals (3.3 spg). Reed Nikko averages 10.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game for the Crimson.

Osseo, meanwhile, has struggled to find some consistency and own a 5-6 record coming into the week. An Orioles win, however, would put them just half a game behind the Crimson in the Northwest Suburban Conference West Division standings.

A Maple Grove victory would not only help ease the sting of a long history of losses to Osseo, but also a 55-43 loss to the Orioles in the Class 4A, Section 5 playoffs last March.
