Apple Valley, ranked No. 1 in Class 4A, squares off against another undefeated foe in No. 5 Maple Grove.

Apple Valley has dominated in all but two of its eight victories. Maple Grove's only close game was a 66-64 win over Robbinsdale Cooper in the opener. The Crimson have gone on to win each of their next seven games by at least 12 points. 

Brad Davison's 16.4 points-per-game average leads Maple Grove, which has five other players averaging 8.6 ppg or more. 

Apple Valley's lineup has some high scorers, led by Gary Trent Jr., who averages 22.2 ppg. Jordan Bolton (17.1 ppg), Brock Bertram (14.6 ppg) and Cameron Kirksey (11.0 ppg) give the Eagles plenty of offensive options.
