Two Class 3A teams looking to rise in the ranks are set to square off as Benilde-St. Margaret's takes on Simley in the Breakdown Sports Tip Off Classic on Dec 13.

The Red Knights (1-4) ended a four-game losing streak with a 70-57 win over Holy Angels on Dec. 4. 

Senior guard Jalen Floyd's 13.5 points-per-game average leads Benilde-St. Margaret's, while junior guard Sam Baker (10.8 ppg) is also chipping in.

Simley has a 2-1 record behind the play of the Stensgard brothers, Jack and Sam. Jack, a junior guard, is averaging 16.6 points per game to lead the Spartans. Sam, a senior guard, averages 10.7 ppg.
