Annandale at Albany
7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12

Annandale has struggled this year, one season removed from a second-place finish at the state Class 2A tournament. The Cardinals are 1-3 and lost 58-51 at Providence Academy on Dec. 4 to extend a losing streak to three games.

The schedule doesn't get any easier. Albany has played only one game this season, a 75-46 blowout win over Foley on Dec. 5. Junior guard Kyle Birr had a 20-point performance to lead the Huskies. Senior guard Nick Raeker added 13 points, six assists and eight steals and senior forward Kenny Weber finished with 12 points.

Coach Cory Schlagel's Albany squad will need to find an answer for Annandale's Chase Knickerbocker. The senior forward is leading the Cardinals with a 22.0 points-per-game average.

Annandale defeated Albany 56-41 last year.
