United South Central at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown

The race for the Gopher Conference title was close last season, but United South Central ended the season on top of league standings by one game. The team the Rebels edged out - Waterville-Elysian-Morristown - will welcome United South Central to town on Friday for the first of two conference contests this year.

The No. 7-1A Rebels have played only one game this year, defeating St. Peter 58-47. The Buccaneers boast a 4-1 record. 

United South Central won both matchups with Waterville-Elysian-Morristown last year (51-48 on Dec. 20 and 45-44 on Jan. 31).
