Robbinsdale Armstrong at Osseo
7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11

Robbinsdale Armstrong placed second and Osseo was third in the final Northwest Suburban Conference standings last year. The Falcons and Orioles will attempt to improve on their finishes this season and could get a boost in their quest with a victory when the teams square off Dec. 11 in the first of two league meetings.

Armstrong and Osseo split the regular-season series a year ago with each team winning on its home floor. The Falcons won 84-79 on Dec. 20, while the Orioles won 68-61 on Feb. 5.

Armstrong coach Greg Miller has a trio of players carrying the scoring load for the No. 5-4A Falcons (4-0). Sean Burns is averaging 16.2 points per game to lead the team, while Evan Nolan is second (13.0 ppg) and Jubril Alade is third (11.0 ppg) in point production through the first four games.

Tim Theisen's Orioles (2-1) counter with Allan Anderson (14.3 ppg) and Elliot Kane (11.3 ppg).
