No. 7-3A St. Paul Central at No. 1-3A St. Paul Johnson
7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18

The St. Paul City Conference title essentially comes down to Tuesday night’s rematch between top-ranked St. Paul Johnson and surging St. Paul Central. The Governors from Johnson have a one-game edge courtesy of a 75-67 victory over the Minutemen on Jan. 31. Johnson had to rally from a five-point halftime deficit in that game, paced by junior guard Jalen Mobley (16.5 ppg), who had a game-high 25 points. He’s an athletic and explosive player who can attack the rim. Mitchell McDonald (11.6 ppg) added 11 points and Eric Elliot (10.7 ppg) and Sedrick Clark each had 10 points for the Governors. Rayeon Williams (18.2 ppg) led three Minutemen in double-figures with 20 points. Since the loss to Johnson, Central has won four straight games.
