No. 7-3A Waconia at No. 17-3A Delano
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11

Delano had high hopes entering the winter but has struggled a bit in the tough Wright County Conference, posting a sub-.500 record (5-6) entering the second week of February. But the Tigers are 10-1 in non-conference games and boast of the strong inside-out tandem of Damon Longstreet (16.6 ppg) and Toby Hanson (20.9 ppg). They combined for 31 points in a 55-49 loss to Waconia back on Jan. 14, but it wasn’t enough as Michael Vigil (10.8 ppg) had 19 points and Jacob Herd (12.1 ppg) scored 10 for the Wildcats. They’re two of Waconia’s four double-digit scorers along with leading scorer Ryan Boll (17.3 ppg) and Tommy Gove (10.7 ppg). Waconia is a game and a half behind WCC leader Holy Family Catholic in the standings.
