Kamali Chambers led all scorers with 18 points, pacing the Royals over the Eagles. The Royals had four other scorers in double figures, too. The Eagles were led by Jack Cottrell's 16 points.
All of the champions benefited from players who transferred. Also, Minnetonka's Bryce Tesdahl endured disappointment as a player and sold his team on avoiding it.

The Class 4A Eagles, trailing by six at halftime to the Class 3A Redhawks, finished the game with a 30-7 run for a 78-64 victory before an overflow crowd at Minnehaha Academy.
